Program
The program aims to provide young participants with hands-on experience in a research laboratory, in order to train them to formulate and test a working hypothesis, thereby expanding their capacity for problem-solving and interpreting results. Furthermore, the program offers participants knowledge of biosafety, Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and proper waste management.
Target Audience
Students in the second (2nd), third (3rd), and fourth (4th) years* of Secondary Education (High School).
* Including students from Military Schools.

Workload
144 hours, fulfilled in a maximum of 3 hours per day, 2 days per week (i.e., 6 hours per week over 6 months, starting from the admission date).
Evaluation Process
Presentation of a poster at the Butantan Institute Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM).
