Possui graduação em Zootecnia pela Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco, mestrado e doutorado em Zootecnia - Produção Animal pela Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho. Pesquisador científico nível VI e Diretora Técnica da Divisão Biotério Central do Instituto Butantan. Tem experiência na área de Zootecnia, com ênfase em produção de animais de laboratório, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: biotério, produção de roedores e lagomorfos, enriquecimento ambiental, ética na experimentação animal, biossegurança em biotérios e procedimentos operativos padrão.
